Floorcloths - Page 2 - Table Coverings
Think POSSIBILITIES when it comes to table coverings: I can
cut a tablecloth to the actual dimensions of your table, or I
can prepare it as a runner for any long surface such as a
divan, or simply down the middle of your dining room table, or
I can make placemats in any size or shape you request (within
reason). Placemats traditionally have been set at each place
setting at dinner time, but placemats can also be placed on
your dresser, bedside tables, under potted plants, on the
coffee table, or use it as a giant coaster to protect any
surface.
I sell some placemats as sets, but don't feel like
you have to buy a set. Remember, this is ART first, and
happens to be very functional, too. Place one in the center of
your table for "art with breakfast!"
Some people frame their floorcloth, but that is not making
full use of their capabilities by design. If you see a
floorcloth image and would prefer it framed, ask me and I'll
prepare for you a painting instead.
For the heavy duck (canvas) surface, no hemming is required on
tablecoverings. This means we can make your floorcloth
tablecovering reversible! I generally paint the back of the
cloth with a solid neutral color so you can flip it over
anytime for a change of scenery. I'd be happy to work with
your plans for secondary use of the table covering. What's
your color scheme?
